IBVTA welcomes ACCS as Associate Member

The IBVTA is delighted to announce their newest Associate Member, Age Check Certification Scheme (ACCS).

The Age Check Certification Scheme is an independent 3rd party certification scheme for providers of age restricted goods, content or services. They test that age check systems work. The scheme can be utilised to provide full conformity assessment in accordance with all aspects of age restricted sales.

For vaping businesses, this means that they can now access test purchasing and mystery shopping, whether they operate a retail outlet, online store or both, through the IBVTA.

Mark Cooley, Head of Sales and Marketing at Age Check Certification Scheme said: “We chose to join the IBVTA as an Associate Member, due to the work they do by way of the Assured Guidance and assistance in helping their members and the wider industry stay compliant. We look forward to working with IBVTA and all members to support the industry in the many challenges related to age restricted sales.“
